Azmiha Raza

Azmiha Raza is a Karachi-based architect and interior designer with over a decade of professional experience, working across high-end residential and commercial projects.

Her work is defined by clarity—spaces that are precise in proportion, restrained in materiality, and shaped around how they are lived and used. Each project is approached holistically, with architecture, interiors and bespoke elements resolved as one cohesive whole.

Azmiha holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the American University of Sharjah and a Diploma in Architecture from Kingston University London. She is a registered member of the Pakistan Council of Architects and Town Planners (PCATP) and AIA Middle East.

She began her career at the studio of the late Habib Fida Ali, where she spent five years working on high-end residential and institutional projects, developing a rigorous approach to detailing, climate responsiveness and contextual design.

Sustainability and functionality are integral to her process. Designs respond to climate, orientation and material efficiency, while ensuring spaces remain intuitive, efficient and enduring in use.

The result is architecture that is quietly distinctive—refined, high-performing and built to last.

Philosophy

I believe that design is inherently subjective and should always be rooted in the needs and aspirations of the people it serves. Architecture must be functional, sustainable, and thoughtful — where beauty is inseparable from purpose. Every space should reflect the personality, lifestyle, and values of its owner, creating environments that feel authentic and deeply personal.

To me, good architecture is more than an intelligent balance of style, form, and function; it is a form of storytelling. Guided by the principle that less is more, I strive to create homes that feel warm, comfortable, and lived in — places of refuge and belonging rather than museums.

Timeless design is not about perfection or excess, but about crafting spaces that enrich everyday life and foster a sense of ease, safety, and connection.
